Welcome to our little farm
Since I was a kid, many laps around the sun ago, i dreamed of owning a farm. In my head, the sun always shone, the grass was lush and green, it never appeared to rain, animals were never ill. Oh how wrong i was!
I knew i wanted sheep, but what breed? They had to be able to do well where we live, as we only keep a small flock, it had to be a rare breed and they had to have a fleece that was amazing. I’m from Teeside so it had to be Teeswaters, and they come from the dale just over there (I’m pointing towards Teesdale). The other reason, they have the most amazing quality of fibre, it’s a long lustre wool, the stable length on a first fleece can be over 14inches long and once washed has the most amazing shine, it is soft with gentle curls. It is a very sort after fibre.
Plus they are a large breed and are quite docile, not ones for launching themselves over drystone walls, or slipping though a tiny gaps-however one has been know to open gates! jump into vans to check for sheep feed and barge past you on an escape bid into the next field.

Our Mission
To help put value into British wool, helping farmers get a fair price for their fleece.
Bring the beauty of British sheep breeds into homes, without harming the sheep in the process.
Our Values
We strive to be as ‘eco’ friendly as possible, all the power used in the production is from renewable source (solar), we use eco friendly soap and where possible collected rain water.
